Visualization of Measured Data in Home-App

How to visualise measured data in the Home-App?

You can find a plugin for homebridge to visualize temperature and humidity in the npm repository. Therefor you have to execute the installation:

sudo npm install -g homebridge-temperature-file
sudo npm install -g homebridge-humidity-file

The config.json File has to edit like that:

  "accessories": [
{
      "accessory": "TemperatureFile",
      "name": "Zuluft Temperatur",
      "description": "Air-Temperature ",
      "file_path": "/nas/data/AUSSENLUFT.txt"
    },
{
      "accessory": "TemperatureFile",
      "name": "Frischluft Temperatur",
      "description": "Fresh Air Temperature",
      "file_path": "/nas/data/FRISCHLUFT.txt"
    },{
      "accessory": "TemperatureFile",
      "name": "Abluft Temperatur",
      "description": "Used Air Temperature",
      "file_path": "/nas/data/ABLUFT.txt"
    },{
      "accessory": "TemperatureFile",
      "name": "Fortluft Temperatur",
      "description": "Exhaused Air Temperature",
      "file_path": "/nas/data/FORTLUFT.txt"
    },{
      "accessory": "TemperatureFile",
      "name": "Wetter Temperatur",
      "description": "Weather Temperature",
      "file_path": "/nas/data/WETTER.txt"
    },
    {
      "accessory": "HumidityFile",
      "name": "Luftfeuchtigkeit Keller",
      "description": "Humidity",
      "file_path": "/nas/data/LUFTm.txt"
    }
    ],

The values of my ventilation system are stored at my NAS /nas/data and has to be interpreted by the plugin.

One drawback: it is only possible to visualise positive values! Negative values are displayed as 0°C.
